Howdy
ya'll! Glad you could make it. My name is Sam the Ranch Hand, and I'll be your
host on this "cyber-tour" of our farm.
Mini Happy Returns Farm is located in Abilene, Texas about 150
miles west of Fort Worth. Mike and Nancy bought their little farm a few years ago
and thought we needed a couple little horses for their grandchildren to ride. It
didn’t take long for them to become mini addicts, and realize that the kids
weren’t the only ones who loved these enchanting creatures. Our numbers rose
rapidly, but we have not allowed them to exceed about 15 to 20 horses at any time.
We do all the work ourselves, which allows us to know and love each individual.
Our goals are simple. We want to raise, and offer horses of the
best conformation, temperament and color that we can. Their bloodlines represent
some of the best in the industry. Our horses are both beautiful and sound.
We imprint our foals at birth, and
each horse is well fed, wormed, trimmed and vaccinated on a regular basis. We insist
that when we sell one of our darlings that they will continue to receive good care in
their new home.
Mike, Nancy and I invite you all
to come visit the farm anytime. We’ll put on a pot of coffee and we’ll talk
about our favorite subject--minis.
